KWJZ 98.9 Smooth Jazz Vol. 10

The funds raised from this CD will go directly to The Jackson Street Music Program which is named in honor of the famed historical Seattle music district that flourished from the 30's through the 50's. The Jackson Street district's abundance of talent helped influence such great artists as: Ray Charles, Quincy Jones, Jimi Hendrix and many others who have shared there talents around the world. The program's goal is to inspire youth's creativity as well as their social and cultural productivity by promoting life skills and creative thinking through the art of music. The Jackson Street Music Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working in conjunction with The Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center of the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Seattle.
