When choosing the size, choose "under the strings size".

How to measure under the strings
It is the length measured vertically from under the navel to the ankle.

There are "horse riding(Umanori) hakama" and " lantern (andon) hakama" in the kind of a hakama.
Both items look same, but there are some one difference inside of it,which is "pants style or skarts style".
This is a pants style.

Horse riding(Umanori) hakama is characterized that the inside is divided into left and right and becomes pants shape.
It is easier to walk than the lantern hakama.
