Easy to fit, Kanga Tuff MetGuard simply attaches to the top of steel cap footwear and is secured with existing laces or straps. Designed and tested to compliment steel cap footwear and to maintain the footwear's own safety standards. Tested to confirm to MetaGuard Impact Resistance Standards, the lip of the MetGuard sits on top of the steel cap at load point, providing protection for the Metatarasal region. Suitable for use in all workplaces and industries, the MetGuardis designed to protect the upper foot from metatarsel injuries, by deflecting the impact of falling loads and spreading the impact load. Kanga Tuff MetGuard is suitable for all safety shoes and boots and has optional attachment straps to secure to non lace up steel two cap safety footwear. Tested to Metatarsal Impact Resistance Standards: ASTM Clause 7 and 5.3 ISO 20344: 2004 Clause 5.16, ISO 20345: 2004 Clause 6.2.6. Tested to EN13634: 2004 Clause 6.3, EN14120: 2007 Clause 6.5. CE certified footwear according to EN 20345, EN 20346 and EN 20347. This Matatarsal Protector can supply protection against superficial mechanical actions as cuts, abrasions and low energy impact.
