Katu VS traditional casters:
- Traditional rubber casters are made of a very cheap, soft rubber which, after a short period of time, peels and separates from the wheel.
- The Katu office chair caster PU is just soft enough so it will never come off from the wheels. Therefore, it will not scratch wood or any other type of flooring.
- On traditional rubber casters, dirt from the floor sticks to the rubber very easily and is almost impossible to clean, over time it becomes a hard layer of dirt and scratches the floors.
- The PU of the Katu casters has the perfect balance, so dirt will not stick to it. If the casters come in contact with some dirt, they can simply be cleaned with a damp cloth.
- The body of traditional caster are made of cheap plastic or nylon, causing them to break easily and shortens the life.
- The body of Katu casters is made of Nylon PA6, the strongest plastic used for casters.
