Kelo-Cote is a patented topical silicone gel for the management and prevention of abnormal scars such as hypertrophic scars and keloids. Kelo-Cote gel self dries to a waterproof membrane that acts like an extra layer of skin. Helps to soften, flatten and smooth the scar while maintaining the moisture balance and elasticity of the adjacent skin.
In or around 2016 Scar-Away purchased Kelo-Cote. It is now the same company and the same product and soon all packaging will change over to Scar-Away. This can be verified thru the parent company Perrigo. So if you receive Scar-Away it is the newest freshest product. If you receive Kelo-Cote it is older soon to be discontinued packaging.
