As with a few others who have mentioned it, this thing cannot keep you warm below 40F degrees. My gf and I were camping in Yellowstone at the last week of June to the first week of July in 2014. During the night time, the temperature drops to less than 35F degrees. We each have our own sleeping bag and we took turn using this Kelty. We were freezing out butt off sleeping in it by itself. So we threw on a long sleeve shirt, 2 hoodies, 1 long underwear, a pair of pants, some cotton hats and two pairs of socks. We were sleeping in a 2 person tent with the rain fly on, sleeping mats on the floor with a blanket on top of the mat. Even with all of that, we were quite cold sleeping in this Kelty.
The 20F degree claim on this is definitely false advertisement. If a low temperature sleeping bag can't keep you warm then I think it's kind of pointless.
I bought the long sleeping bag even though I'm only a 5'7" woman because I like to keep some clothes stashed at the bottom of my sleeping bag so they're warm in the morning when I put them on. If you don't like to warm your clothes ahead of time then the regular size is long enough! Enjoy! This sleeping bag is an outstanding bargain.
Awesome sleeping bag although it might be a little big for my 6'1" frame. However, my five year old was able to snuggle in there as well so that is nice
