Ordered on Sunday, received the following Monday, very good considering from Japan. Would be 5 stars except for the manual is in Japanese. I am not giving a thumbs up or down as your expectations maybe different than mine. This product works for me. It is much more than I expected, multiple capture resolutions, self timer, 8 steps of quality zoom, play back mode, Audio recording, HD video,VGA 640x480, D1(30fps, 720x480)or snapshot capture mode, 6mm FOV, 5M,1.3M. Not sure of the CMOS size, maybe 1/3". User supplied micro SDHD card, built in battery is charged from a laptop computer, I do not know if it can be charged fron a phone charger nor do I know if you can stream to a computer via included USB cable as it mentions Windows XP, Vista(32) 7(32/64) Mac 10.3, I did not purchase for that possibility. I did acess the SD card with my Win 8.1 laptop without removing the card and arranged the files into folders. I ntook 23 pic's my first night out and I have been moon struck since, much...
KDE 20D camera performed better than I originally perceived, mainly from on -line reviews....those people who do not have the camera, and play the expert amateur observer! Look for less than $90 bills , you get a performer!, light weight, 1 lux 1.3m, up 32g memory , broad menu (four languages: Korean Japanese Mandarin Chinese English), interpolation up to x5, record video in 720p HD, AVI, VGA, time /date stamp, plus a audio record feature to stills and video records. there will be a problems with Win10 system interface and acceptance as a read write drive. Just de dock, and remove the micro SD from the KDE 20D, place micro SD in adapter, read from there. The key with this, as for.... all astro- cameras is "FOCUS" (wear your glasses) (correct yourself to 20/20 first) . The perspective of the image will be recorded...with Lake Eire behind me and 20 plus mph wind gust... testing the unit produce acceptable images (wind searing, de focusing the Moon) , but avi stacking photo...
Looks cheap, but don't let it's cheapness fool you. The lcd for what it is does a nice job. When you get around the Japanese menus and pick English from the menus it's easy.
For what it is, works well, and seems now you cannot buy these through Amazon, but there is the odd source through eBay these can be had, but ask the seller first as they are getting hard to get hold of
A very handy accessory you can add to your eyepiece case and not much heavier than an eyepiece.
Can take videos which can later be processed through registax. Actual images taken with this.
