Kerr Lab Automatic Standard Electro-MeltTM Electro-Melt units are self-contained furnaces for melting metal. Designed to be handheld, they are the easiest way to vacuum cast - just pick them up like a coffeepot and pour. The Automatic Series features an electronic controller with digital display, which will hold the temperature you set to within Â±5Â°F. Most importantly, the electronics are designed to eliminate temperature overshoot. Also features a bright LED digital readout in Â°F or Â°C. Comes complete with a graphite crucible (which provides a reducing atmosphere during melting), 12" carbon stirring rod and safety switch. Hand held compact electric furnace for melting metals. Digitally controlled, recommended when sustained high temperature use is required. Electronic controller regulates the temperature by providing full power input until a pre-selected temperature is attained.
