- AMERICAN TANTO PLAIN EDGE BLADE: Made from 4Cr14 blade steel with handsome stonewashed finish, the tanto blade provides a sharp blade point, ideal for slicing and piercing.
- STAINLESS STEEL HANDLE, cold-forged with a hot-stamped textured repeating pattern for good looks and enhanced grip. Silver handle. Includes pocketclip for reversible carry (right/left, tip-up).

Kershaw's Cathode is an ultra-functional everyday pocket carry. The 2.25-inch tanto blade made with 4Cr14 high-performance steel is great for slicing and piercing and is highly resistant to staining. A top grind gives the Cathode style and heavy jimping along the spine ensures a secure grip, even while performing detailed work. The blade is finished with a stonewashed finish, providing a rugged appearance capable of hiding scratches and fingerprints. The Cathode's built-in flipper allows quick and easy ambidextrous single hand blade operation by utilizing Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted opening system. The Cathode's stainless steel handle construction is cold-forged with a repeating pattern texture for standout looks and enhanced grip. A frame lock ensures secure blade lockup, preventing accidental closure during operation. Black hardware, including a backspacer with additional jimping, and a reversible pocket clip help compliment the Cathode's handsome all steel construction.
