Like the rest of the Scallion family, this purple version has a 2.4-inch blade, making it the ideal size for easy, lightweight pocket carry that steps up to just about any task. The razor-sharp blade is made with 420HC high-carbon stainless steel and bead-blasted for an easy-to-maintain matte finish with good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. The Scallion comes equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening, for simple, one-handed blade deployment activated with a simple pull back on the ambidextrous flipper that glides the blade out of the handle. The purple Scallion's aluminum handle scales are anodized to accept the purple dye and produce scratch resistant, colorful handles. A locking steel liner secures the blade open during use and is easy to close for storage. A Tip-Lock adds extra safety when users simply move the slider built into the handle to help guard against accidental opening.
