I bought this book based on the many good reviews that I read and was different in that it was a book dedicated to slow cooker recipes but after getting it I will say that I wished I had saved my coins. First there is not one picture of any recipe. Not a big game changer but there are numerous spelling errors in a lot of the recipes, grade school errors. The nutrition facts per serving is hard to believe and is not consistent, I have never seen the grams written with a coma, example 10,7g, have always seen it with a period (10.7g), not this book it’s written both ways with a coma and a period. Also I would like to know how they came up with the net carbs, just about every recipe the net carbs is wrong, if you subtract total carbs from the fiber to come up with net carbs, it’s wrong. Tried to look up how this was calculated but the book does not give you any information to how this is calculated. There are usable recipes in this book but frankly I just don’t trust the...
I don't know how a book with so many errors could be released. A few examples: "Dic your squash," "wipping cream," "6 turkey things," "croumbled bacon," "cougrettes," "Defost spinach in a microvawe stove," A spell checker would have picked up most of these errors.
It is quite an informative book about ketogenic diet as I always want to read. After understanding this book I’ve learned a lot of valuable info and plans on how to get started in this kind of diet accurately. All the recipes are look good and easy to prepare. The author did an awesome job on creating a very revealing book like this and I commend her for that. It is certainly a very good book to have and I highly recommend it to everyone who are planning to start the keto diet.
