Knight & Hale's Wild Hog Call imitates the grunting sounds of a contented, feeding hogs. Hogs are social animals that enjoy the company of their own kind. They are drawn to the sounds of other hogs. Old boars are normally solitary but are always on the lookout for females. They are constantly vigilant for the presence of other boars which may invade their territory. The soft contented grunts of the Wild Hog Call will draw both boars and herds of sows with their young. This Knight & Hale Game Call has a new barrel design has an ergonomic look and feel. The Threadlock barrel threads into the shortened end piece for ease of dis assembly.. The wedge, reed and sound board are also changed, so the reed locks into place. This allows the call to be reassembled just as it came from the factory - every time. The end result is a great sounding, user friendly, compact call, with a lot of volume.
