- 100% WOOL: Spun from Peruvian wool, the strong fiber has an excellent balance of structure, loft and drape; a sturdy yarn with excellent stitch definition and heirloom durability
- ALL PURPOSE YARN: This sturdy all-purpose yarn is ideal for cable stitch patterns, intricate winter sweaters, textured stitches and everyday accessories; also felts beautifully
- GAUGE SIZE: For knitting, 4.5 - 5 sts = 1" on US 6-9 needles; For crochet, 11–14 sc = 4'' on I-K hooks
- CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash in lukewarm water and dry flat; yarn can felt with warm water and agitation
Our classic worsted wool yarn is spun and plied carefully to achieve a wonderfully balanced twist. A sturdy yet soft yarn with excellent stitch definition and heirloom durability. Peruvian sheep are a cross between Corriedale (for the sturdiness) and Merino (for the softness), producing a strong fiber with an excellent softness quotient for a wide variety of uses. Felts beautifully.
