Koi and Garden Pools: A Complete Introduction

The only book in the English language which considers the total koi pond, including the microscopic life which is so very important to the well-being of the pond and the fishes in it. Most of the mi- croscopic life is shown in magnificent color drawings. Every popu- lar color variety of koi (Japanese colored carp) is illustrated in the book's over one hundred full-color illustrations. Dr. Axelrod was the first Westerner to visit the koi ponds in the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. He wrote the first koi book, too.
