- Tip: Use a little water or leave-in conditioner to refresh Curl Cream on non-wash days. Prep: Use a wide tooth comb or brush to detangle when in the shower. Use a micro-fiber towel or t-shirt to dry your hair with less frizz. Apply curl cream evenly from root to tip. Coil or twist hair to encourage the natural curl pattern. Air dry or diffuse on medium heat if you want more volume

1. Use a wide tooth comb or detangling brush in the shower. Gently work out any tangles as you rinse your conditioner. 2. Once you're out of the shower, avoid brushing again. 3. Use a t-shirt instead of a towel to blot-dry for less frizz. 4. Comb again using a wide tooth comb if necessary. 5. Apply curl cream as evenly as possible from root to ends. Start with a nickel-sized amount and go back for more. 6. Twist your curls or waves into small sections and allow the hair to air dry.
