- Adapter with 4-segment 3.5 mm plug (video and audio). Not to be confused with normal 3-segment 3.5 mm audio stereo plug. This adapter is used for laptops, camcorders and other compact devices with 4-pin 3.5 mm video and audio stereo socket. It adapts to 3x RCA / RCA socket: white (stereo left), red (stereo right), yellow (CV, composite video - 75 ohm). Note for use with smartphones and mobile phones: this adapter can only work if the device TV output via the 3.5 mm 4-segment socket supports various manufacturers (Samsung, Apple, ...) use different plug assignments. For example, Samsung the assignments are exactly the reverse as with Nokia. Unfortunately, due to the variety of models, we cannot provide a compatibility list
