The centering indicator is designed as a precision measuring instrument for locating a work piece by the pointer while the spindle rotates when the spindle rotates.
The indicator always face the operator.

- The straight feeler is for use in inside diameter measurement.
- The curve feelers is for use on outside diameter measurement.
- The center point feeler is for use on center punch marks.
In use the spring loaded point should be depressed into its housing 1/32" to 1/16"
