- THE LAGUIOLE LEGEND - Inspired by a traditional peasant tool, the Laguiole knife has been used for over 200 years. Now expanded to flatware, each piece carries the mark of a bee for authenticity, originally part of Napoleon Bonaparte's imperial seal.

In the heart of the French countryside, the Dubost family has been creating fine flatware for four generations. The design of these knives was inspired by a shepherd's tool first manufactured in the village of Laguiole in the 19th century. Slightly curved with a tiny bee on the bolster, the knives resemble original models that were made to fold and fit in a pocket. Crafted from polished stainless steel, each knife has three visible rivets and a serrated blade. Each steak knife has a 4 1/4" blade and is 9" long overall. Dishwasher safe. Made in France.
