We chose to use pine because we feel it is a prettier than fir and more sturdy wood than the paulowina that our competitors are using; specifically in regards to how securely the screws stay in place for the handles and for its natural beauty. We feel, through our own testing and research, that paulowina is not as durable or as functional and pine has more character than fir.💠Each serving tray is coated with a stain resistant clear coat to allow usability without fear of damaging the natural beauty of the wood.
