A book for practitioners of taiji, qigong and any of the martial arts, this is a translation of methods developed by Dr Pang in the 1990s. They were mainly created to raise peopleâ€™s level of practice and their abilities in any of the above disciplines. For Zhineng Qigong practitioners, they support and supplement other methods and prepare them for Level Four practice. The methods in this book aim to improve health to a higher-than-normal level. While still valuable for those with any form of illness, they mostly focus less on healing and more on greater control over oneâ€™s physical and mental state. They also enable one to better develop skills important in taiji and the various martial arts. Best known for his creation of Zhineng Qigong and his powers of healing, Dr Pang was also a high-level taiji practitioner. This book is independent of but can be used in conjunction with The Methods of Zhineng Qigong Science published by Dr Pang in 1992. Like that book, it is translated by Wei Qi Feng, working in conjunction with Patricia Fraser. After completion of the two-year Teacher Training class in 1995, Master Wei was part of the small group chosen to learn new methods from Dr Pang and pass them on to fellow teachers at the Huaxia Centre. He continues to teach Zhineng Qigong and Taiji in China and internationally.
