Carriers protect laminating pouches from scratches during the lamination process and prevent excess adhesive from accumulating on your machine's rollers.
Carriers can also prevent pouches from wrapping around the rollers during lamination.

Not all pouch laminators require the use of a carrier; however, if your laminator's temperature and laminating thickness is capable of using carriers, it will increase the longevity of your machine. Your machine manual may be of assistance in determining compatibility.considering you are adding 20 mils (500 microns) to the thickness of your paper and pouch to be laminated.
