RELIABLE ADHESION. This high temp silicone sealant works on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces). Resists cracking, shrinking & migrating.
FLEXES WITH MOVEMENT. Enhances load bearing & shock absorbing characteristics of the bond area. Eliminates the need for preformed, paper, rubber & cork gaskets.
INCREASED OIL RESISTANCE. Tolerates contamination by oils (e.g. motor oils, corrosion protection oils, cutting fluids).
CONVENIENT CURING. Only 5 minutes until set.

Loctite Hi-Tack Gasket Sealant is a fast drying sealant that dries to a highly tacky, non-brittle film that holds gaskets in place during assembly. Seals and bonds rubber, cork, paper, felt, metal, and asbestos gaskets. Sets quickly to a very tacky film. Suitable to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C). Contains no ozone-depleting compounds. Temperature range: -65Â°F to 500Â°F (-54Â°C to260Â°C); resists gasoline, oil, antifreeze, axle lube. Typical applications include valve covers, fuel pumps, carburetors, manifold gaskets.
