I enjoyed this story greatly. It was suspenseful throughout and kept me guessing for 2/3rds of the story. It was a good blend of who was their child and who sent them there. I also enjoy series where you can see previous characters in supporting roles. It helps me determine whether their story is one that I would enjoy reading. I find Colleen Coble's style of writing to be varied, her ideas are realistic and make for exciting reads. Whether modern or historic her mysteries are ones that I wish to both rush through and hate to see end. It is always a treasure to see how people cling to the Lord during the hard times and this book is no exception to placing God as the one who leads. Ms. Coble's characters are always believable and promote the best in christian community. I would recommend this book to people and any other book written by Colleen Coble.

Lonestar Angel has everything I look for in a good book... mystery, action, romance, and Christian inspiration. Five years ago, Eden and Clay Larson's baby was kidnapped, but there was an accident when they tried to deliver the ransom. The kidnapper died, but baby Brianna was never found. They both blamed themselves, and their young marriage fell apart. Now, Eden has moved on and is about to become engaged to another man when Clay shows up and tells her that he has found their daughter. Brianna is possibly one of five girls on a youth ranch in Bluebird, Texas. To find the truth, Clay and Eden become counselors at the ranch. While working on the ranch, they discover that they never stopped loving each other. Soon lives are threatened and they wonder why someone would want to lure them to the ranch in the first place. Colleen Cobles's intricate plot kept me constantly guessing how everything would play out in the end. I would definitely recommend this book to any woman looking...
