In celebration of Barbara Cook's most recent Kennedy Center Honor as well as her soon-to-be 85th birthday Carnegie Hall celebration on October 25th, DRG has produced and releasing a brand new, never before recorded album of her latest catalog of songs. Recorded at the famed Avatar Studios in New York, this jazz styled album (a first for Barbara) brings a totally exciting dimension to this legendary performer's career. Backed by Musical Director-arranger-pianist Ted Rosenthal, the quartet made of up Jay Leonhart, Warren Odz, and Lawrence Feldman. It should be of no surprise that Barbara takes us on a great ride with new batch of songs both familiar and rare.
