I've always loved Lowepro products due to their high quality and durability. I have been searching for the perfect shoulder bag to carry a Canon body and at least two lenses plus gear and a tablet/laptop and one that is not too soft or stiff. The largest Event Messenger 250 is a great bag but it's too small. I have the ProMessenger 200AW and although my favorite bag for design, it is too soft and mushy. Impossible to set it down without it falling over. The bag just mushes in around the gear sometimes making it hard to get the gear out. If you stuff the bag with gear it would be ok but if not full it would be mushy. So that brings me to the latest Urban Reporter 350. Although the largest of the three bags it's not too large for me (being 6'4"/215#) to carry around. Maybe for someone in smaller stature? I like the material as it blends lightweight almost nylon feeling with a small blend of canvas. Perfect! The bag is ALMOST stiff enough for me. I actually added a flat 1/4" square piece... Read more
This is probably the worst Lowepro bag I used so far. I am quite disappointed with this bags build and comfort. The stitching and materials are no where near of what is expected from a $150 bag. The laptop is completely exposed to minor rain and snow from huge opening on both sides of the top flap that has no way of covering up, and the flap is just too loose. Not to mention how awful it is to open each time. I got this to be used mainly as a messenger bag to carry my laptop and even with a 13-inch retina MacBook(quite light) and a light book, this bag quite uncomfortable for a small walk. I have no idea how they expect me to be comfortable carrying a dslr with multiple lenses in this bag! I so wish I had gotten the think tank retrospective 13L instead which is cheaper and has better features. The only reason I gave this a 2 star instead of 1 is that it looks good. Would not recommend anyone to buy this. I wish I could return it, don't know if they will take this back now that... Read more
Nice bag, with some complaints. The positive is that it's nicely priced, probably because it's on closeout. It's a good size for long lenses, while still remaining reasonably compact. It can store a 70-200 f/2.8 lens mounted on a camera as well as a 150-600 size lens not on a camera, with enough room left over for 2-3 shorter lenses and accessories.

The down side is the design, which is a little awkward to work with. The top padding isn't connected to the top flap, which makes it clumsy, and the front straps are also awkward to work with. No simple velcro and/or buckles like most other bags. I still give it a good rating simply because you'll pay 4-6x as much for a similar but better designed bag from a company like ThinkTank.
