Luke's Story of Jesus

The story line of Luke is the key to the theology of the gospel. Luke's literary skill appears in the division of his book into major sections and in its construction of deeply moving individual scenes. "Luke's Story of Jesus" lays bare this story in such a way that the evangelist's message takes on new life. The basic category for Luke's interpretation of Jesus is the fulfillment of prophecy.
