Maggie Carlson comes home from rounding up her cattle to find a wounded man in her barn. She's all alone since her Pa's death, but this doesn't stop her from helping him.



When she learns he's a bounty hunter and may still go after Clyde Bentley, the notorious outlaw that shot him, she finds her heart is captured by Colt Laramie and all she wants is for him to stay.



Colt Laramie has been hunting bounty for a long time. He's been wanting to settle down and Maggie's gentle ways captures his heart. Torn between his love for Maggie and his quest to go after Clyde Bentley, Colt has a hard decision to make.
