- MAGNET COMPOSITION: The Alnico bar-shaped magnet material is an alloy made up of aluminum, nickel, cobalt, and copper, with a rough cast surface that can be ground to close dimensions and to a bright metallic finish.
- ELECTRICALLY-CONDUCTED MAGNETIC MATERIAL: The cylindrical bar magnet is electrically conducted, can be E.D.M.'d to form holes and shapes, and can be plated. This alnico is oriented magnetically through its length.
- PERFORMANCE AND TEMPERATURE RANGE: Our magnet material is available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Ideal for high heat applications, the Alnico can withstand operating temperatures up to 800°F.
