Magnet Composition: Ceramic magnet material is a nonmetallic mix made from iron oxide, strontium ferrite, and metal oxides, which is calcined and wet ball milled to fine particles, binders are added, and then compacted in a press under high temperature.
High-Energy Material: Our permanent ceramic 8 magnetic ring is a lightweight, high-energy, hard, brittle, dense black, and non-conductive material that is difficult to grind and cannot be E.M.D.’d, machined, or drilled using normal methods.
Performance and Temperature Range: The ceramic magnet material, with a thin cross-section, exhibits optimal performance when exposed to temperatures below 350°F and cannot withstand temperatures exceeding 480°F.
