- 0.2 inch (5 mm) thick foam gasket will result in an approximate 1/8 inch gap between the housing edge and the vehicle body after installation. - Apply adhesive to the back of the third brake light and securely attach the new seal gasket, ensuring proper alignment during installation. When replacing the bulb at a later stage, the gasket leaves minimal adhesive residue, significantly reducing cleaning time on the third brake light assembly
