Inverted Liquid-Feed: Increased cold-weather and low-fuel performance with more consistent output across all fuel levels.
Efficient: Remote burner allows the use of a windscreen for maximum efficiency.
Lightweight & Compact: Weighs just 6.6 oz.; fits in a one-liter pot.
Versatile: Supports pots up to 10" maximum diameter; compatible with bake ovens.
The next-generation WindPro II camp stove combines all of the great benefits of the original WindPro stove, with the ability to burn in liquid-feed mode. This added versatility lets you run the stove in traditional upright mode for optimal efficiency and flame control or, with a simple twist, invert the canister on the included stand to deliver liquid gas directly to the burner. This configuration diminishes reliance on internal canister pressure, greatly improving cold-weather and low-fuel performance, and boots stove output significantly anytime speed really counts.

Took it for a test drive at home before heading out with it. Infinite control of the flame from a just simmer to full blown rock'n. Pack fairly small bit I chose it because of the large burner and wide base for using larger pans. The burner is almost 3in across and the flame pattern is diffuse and heat my USGI mountain cook set pans evenly with not noticeable hot spots. I like the added ability to put out right a 10,000 BTU by inverting the canister which will also give you better cold weather performance but you lose some of the control ability of the flame. Over all I'm 100% satisfied. My primary use is car camping/ road tripping.
No longer backpacking, I still do everything I can to eliminate bulk in the vehicle when I go camping. This isn't the smallest stove out there, but it is the most versatile I've ever used. Rocket stoves are definitely smaller, but they concentrate the heat in the middle of the pot and typically don't simmer well. The Windpro II has a burner similar to Coleman stoves and, unless it's my imagination, it has better flame control than the Coleman two-burner this replaced. I also like the remote canister over a top-mounted stove so I'll be able to use the backpacker oven I plan to buy in the near future. Unless you're into cooking up 7-course meals, another plus is that an 8-ounce canister should easily last through an extended weekend.
A great companion to this a folding windscreen. The heavy foil screen that came with the stove did the job but was a little too bulky and cumbersome to me. I bought this one Solo Aluminum Windscreen. It's taller than the OEM so it seems to work...
The MSR Pocket Rocket was my stove of choice before this one, but I've been converted. The WindPro II is a little bit heavier, a little bit bulkier, and A LOT more versatile. The larger burner means better more even cooking than the torch-style Pocket Rocket, and boil times are comparable. Having the burner separated from the canister means that you have a larger, more stable base for your pot and you can use a windscreen. Having the option to invert the canister means that you can rely on the stove in colder conditions (probably still not below 20 degrees). This is a stove that is definitely at home on the trail, but can even be useful in the campground, serving as a great third burner for eggs or coffee when your Coleman is busy with the pancakes and bacon. Awesome.
