- Recommended Usage Percentage: Typically used at 0.5%–2% in cosmetic formulations. Beginners should start at lower percentages and gradually increase depending on the product type.
- How to Use in DIY Formulations: Salicylic Acid dissolves best in solvents such as propylene glycol, butylene glycol, ethanol, or polysorbate before being added to formulations. Works well in products with a pH of 3–4. Ensure complete dissolution for a smooth, even blend.
