MAGID Rubber Insulating Electrical Safety Gloves, Class 0 ASTM Compliant, Size 8, 14" Cuff, Lineman Electrician Voltage Protection, M014R8
Product Description
MAGID Rubber Insulating Electrical Safety Gloves, Class 0 ASTM Compliant, Size 8, 14" Cuff, Lineman Electrician Voltage Protection, M014R8
- Professional Electrical Safety: Rubber insulating gloves engineered for lineman work, electrical contractors, utility workers, and high-voltage machine operations; Essential PPE for electrical hazard protection
- Class 0 Voltage Protection: Rated for applications up to 1,000 Volts AC / 1,500 Volts DC; Provides critical electrical insulation barrier; Must be worn with leather protector gloves (sold separately) for maximum safety and durability
- Premium Natural Rubber Latex: Black dielectric rubber construction provides superior elasticity, flexibility, and puncture resistance compared to nitrile, chloroprene, or vinyl; Non-conductive material ensures reliable electrical insulation
- Extended 14-Inch Length: Provides protection beyond the wrist and over the forearm; Straight cuff with rolled edge design ensures secure fit and easy donning/doffing; Contoured shape reduces hand fatigue during extended wear
- ASTM & OSHA Compliant: Manufactured to meet ASTM D120-09, OSHA 29C FR 1910.269, and NFPA 70E standards; Requires electrical testing and recertification every 6 months per OSHA regulations; Flush rear label won't interfere with protector gloves
The Magid M011R ARC flash insulating glove, size 8, is made of red dielectric natural rubber latex, provides class 0 low voltage protection up to 1,000V AC/1,500V DC, has a straight cuff, and is suitable for lineman work, electrical contractor and field service work, high-voltage machine operations, and other industrial applications. The dielectric natural rubber latex is non-conductive and provides better elasticity than nitrile, chloroprene, or vinyl, and better puncture resistance than vinyl. The glove has a contoured shape to help reduce hand fatigue and chafing, and a smooth finish for comfort and to resist wear. The glove is 14" long from the tip of the middle finger to the edge of the cuff. The straight cuff has a rolled edge and helps protect the hand, wrist, and forearm. The label on the back of the glove contains size and voltage protection information to facilitate the visual identification of the glove's size and specifications, and is flush with the glove for durability and comfort. This glove is manufactured to comply with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D120-09 standard specification for rubber insulating gloves, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29C FR 1910.269 standards for electric power generation, transmission and distribution, and National Fire Protection Association 70E standard for electrical safety in the workplace. It comes in a pair of gloves.
Work gloves help protect the hands, can cover the wrists, and sometimes extend to cover part, or all, of the arm. Work gloves are typically constructed from leather or heavy cotton and are suitable for use in construction, mechanical, landscaping, and do-it-yourself applications to help protect against minor cuts and abrasions. Work gloves for use in manufacturing and construction industries can be made of woven, high-strength synthetic fiber, to resist cuts from heavy machinery and withstand high levels of heat without melting. Work gloves may also be made of, or include, flame retardant material, for use in welding and other heavy-duty applications.
Magid Glove & Safety manufactures gloves, protective clothing, first aid supplies, and personal protective equipment. The company, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Chicago, IL, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001:2008.
