The amauti is a traditional winter coat still worn today by the Inuit in northern Canada. This item has been made in Nunavut according to traditional design especially for Maplelea girls. In her journal pages Saila tells you all about the traditions of her amazing amauti. Since launching our award-winning line of 18" vinyl dolls, outfits and accessories in 2003, the Maplelea brand has become synonymous with quality. The Maplelea Amazing Amauti outfit has the same exquisite detail and fine craftsmanship as all Maplelea clothing, accessories, furniture and playsets.
