Very disappointed! I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I recently had a mastectomy on February 19, 2015. I found the book to promoting the other books. The exercises after a Mastectomy or lymph node removal, I found online and with a better view of exercises. the other information wasn't helpful at all. Start exercising after you get the okay from your doctor. don't lift anything heavy for a couple of months. Things your doctor didn't tell you, I found pointless. Maybe her doctor didn't. But, my doctor has been my source of information since finding out I had breast cancer.
I was sent home with an exercise sheet, but precious little follow up. I didn’t know how much I could do with my shoulder, when I could go back to sport or even just push a shopping cart. This is an excellent resource for anyone after breast cancer surgery from day one. Easy to follow, practical suggestions. A ‘must read’ if you want to regain the use of your arm and shoulder and how to get fitter throughout and after treatments.
