So late one night I was searching the internet for help with weight loss. I've been all around and through every diet and advice you can imagine. I've lost weight and gained it back whenever I've been under a lot of stress. So this one night I was desperate to find something that would show me the way out of my misery. I came across Alexander's videos and downloaded his free stuff. This was back in March of this year. I put the free downloads in a folder and promptly forgot about it. Then a few weeks ago, searching once again for some insight on how to get a handle on weight loss I came across Alexander's videos on YouTube. I thought they looked a little familiar and realized that I had come across him earlier. So I watched a few videos and had that feeling like this was it, just what I needed. I've been dieting since 1979. In the military, trying diets, exercising, attending transformational seminars, Weight Watchers, cookbooks, supplements, etc. I also am on depression/anxiety medication (which my friends and family thank me for). I'm 61 years old. And I mean "old," not "young" as people like to quip nowadays. I like being older and I do have a young, immortal mentality. Just finished this book. LOVED IT. This is a rare book that hits it out of the park, so simply, with almost no repetition. It's a relatively quick read that keeps you interested and gives you actionable concepts throughout. Although it focuses a bit on health and weight loss, the concepts in this book can easily be (and should be) used for all aspects of life. The concept: master your day by not focusing on a huge goal that seems far away and unachievable, but rather focus on little wins every single day. Actions taken 1000's of times over, as daily habits, are truly what change who we are, who we become, and make us achieve goals. I fully recommend this book to anyone interested in becoming a better person, more successful person, become healthier, or otherwise in any way interested in achieving some goals through ACTION, not just thoughts.
