The puck lamp was designed with a proprietary heatsink which minimizes thermal levels allowing this light source to be used in totally enclosed light fixtures. The puck lamp is safety listed for use in damp locations and emits light equivalent to a 60W incandescent lamp. The Compact Puck Lamp is a high-lumen LED light source suitable for use in enclosed fixtures such as closet lights, ceiling fans and outdoor porch lights. Available in GU24 and E26 bases, the MaxLite 10CPUAGULED27 puck lamp delivers up to 800 lumens, equivalent to the light of a 60W incandescent lamp, from a source about the size of a hockey puck. The LED Puck Lamp is the industry's first GU24 base light source, suitable for use in fully enclosed luminaires. This item is the Maxlite 10CPUAGULED27 (76909). This GU24 base LED compact puck lamp consumes just 10 watts and operates on 120-277V volt systems. Designed as an LED replacement for 13 watt compact fluorescent low-profile, SquatMax CFL or 60 watt incandescent light bulbs, this LED will generate 800 lumens (that's a very nice 80 lumens per watt efficacy) of 2700K, 80 CRI light output. That's more than a half inch shorter than its non-compact models which makes it a perfect solution for shallow fixture housings.
