Note:

To check if your Solenoid is bad, just attach a voltage meter to the positive and negative leads on the front, put the cart in gear and press on the gas, if you don't get an increase in the voltage, it's bad.

One word of advice, when replacing the Solenoid, go ahead and replace the Diodes as well. Easy fix and great product.
