This heirloom was given to Dante by his father that serves as a physical manifestation of his power and spirit. This claymore has magical properties that can release Dantes devil but it first must be awakened by the taste of his own blood. This sword is the transformation this sword takes after it is awakened. The black grip is bone and advances down to the guard that is a horned demon skull leading to a rib cage from which the blade protrudes.
