- The nonadherent wound contact layer does not stick to wound or the tissue surrounding the wound and allows for easy removal from the skin
- Dispersion layer evenly distributes and quickly transfers fluid into the super-absorbent core, while blue protective backing helps protect clothing and sheets
- This dressing is recommended for use on pressure injuries, cuts, scrapes, minor burns, lacerations and abrasions, and wounds under compression; do not use on severe burns, non-draining or minimally draining wounds, or if user has a known sensitivity to the product itself or its components
Super-absorbent polymer core. Locks in drainage under compression. Adjusts absorption to the amount of drainage. Protects skin from maceration. Non-adherent wound contact layer. Indications: pressure ulcers, partial and full-thickness wounds, leg ulcers, lacerations and abrasions and wounds under compression. Contraindications: third-degree burns, known sensitivity to the product itself or its components; do not use on non-exudation or minimally exudation wounds. May be left in place for up to 7 days; Dressing change frequency will depend on amount of drainage.
