- 【Firmware Upgrade】Download the latest firmware on the official Megadap website and store it in the camera memory card. Install the ETZ21 PRO adapter ring and lens on the camera, and insert the memory card with firmware into the camera. Open the camera, select [Settings Menu]>[Firmware Version], and then follow the instructions on the screen to perform firmware updates. When the message prompts that the update is complete, please turn off the camera and remove the memory card.
- 【Special Note】To use the Z8 camera with the ETZ21 PRO/ETZ21 PRO+, you must first downgrade the camera firmware to version 2.1 (the firmware can be downloaded from the official Nikon website). Then, use the camera to upgrade the ETZ21 PRO+ firmware to version 1.42 (the firmware upgrade website URL is located on the side of the product packaging box). Finally, upgrade the Z8 camera firmware back to version 3.0. After completing these steps, the Z8 camera running firmware version 3.0 will be fully compatible with the ETZ21 PRO+ adapter.
