Mepilex Border Lite is a self-adherent soft silicone foam dressing. It is a thin and conformable version of Mepilex Border and is ideal for body contours and hard to dress areas. It consists of thee layers: A soft silicone wound-contact layer (Safetac(R)); a thin flexible absorbent pad of polyurethane foam; and an outer film which is vapor permeable, moisture proof and bacteria proof. Molnlycke's Mepilex Border Lite #281000 measures 1.6" x 2" and sold in a box of 10 dressings. Mepilex Border Lite is designed for the management of a wide range of non/low exuding wounds, such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical incisions, and traumatic wounds, such as abrasions, finger injuries, blisters and skin tears.
