Micscape Magazine Yearbook 1 is the first collection of articles from Micscape Magazine published in book form, from the long-running and highly successful online magazine supporting Microscopy as a serious hobby. Around the world, people from all walks of life use a microscope to study the small-scale world. They observe and record, probing where the professionals are not paid to go. Their collective knowledge is profound and important. Yearbook 1 is a collection of selected articles published online between June 2014 and July 2016 along with an assortment of additional selected articles from previous years. This publication is an historical milestone of a virtual presence, a celebration of a hobby which has survived since Victorian times, and a tribute to the authors and specialist photomicrographers who contribute to the online project.
