- This is pure white, and a very good good texture - it's fine enough to mix easily, but not so fine that it can float up into the air. It's in a sturdy bag, which I popped into an air-tight canister with some rechargeable silicone-bead desiccant packets. - It also arrived *FAST*! So that was great, too :) - I'm using it as both a skin treatment, but I also use it as a "seasoning", because I like tart foods BUT I don't react at all well to vinegar ((probably the acetate ions)). I've made some sugar-free dips/spreads for chips and wheat-free crackers so far, and just sprinkled it onto a couple of meals where I wanted more tartness than my Better Half wanted ;) - So, I've been enjoying it, and finding various uses for it: ¤ I'm going to try using it in place of vinegar in a low-voltage steel-etching technique I found online, and will try making some hot pepper sauce. ¤ I also will mix some in a small spray bottle and try it ((again, as a...
This stuff is amazing. I had been using lemon juice to add acidity to my homemade vegan cheeses, but using this? Wow, what a difference. I love it, highly recommend it. Can't wait to try making kimchee with it.
