Nachdem ich mich entschloss, auÃŸer BauplÃ¤nen und einigen Teilen auch einen kompletten Bausatz einer Seifenkiste anzubieten, entstand der Bauplan zur MiniBox. Wenig Teile aus preiswerten Werkstoffen, aber trotzdem hohe StabilitÃ¤t und Sicherheit, dies war der Anspruch. Die Lenkung arbeitet Ã¼ber BowdenzÃ¼ge auf Achsen aus Aluminium. Die Bremse wurde als FuÃŸbremse ausgefÃ¼hrt, da Stempelbremsen, die auf die Fahrbahn wirken, keine gute Wirkung erzielen und auch die SpurstabilitÃ¤t beim Bremsen zum Nachteil beeinflussen. Oftmals auch unterschÃ¤tzt: Im Notfall bekommen Kinder Ã¼ber eine FuÃŸbremse ihre Kiste wesentlich schneller zum Stehen als Ã¼ber die Handbremse, bei der man eine Hand vom Lenkrad nehmen muss.Wer keinen Bausatz hat und alles selbst baut, hat mit diesem Bauplan den Vorteil, dass er durch die einfache Konstruktion fast alle Teile im Baumarkt oder beim Schreiner auf MaÃŸ zuschneiden lassen kann. In nur wenige Teile mÃ¼ssen LÃ¶cher gebohrt werden. Das Aluminiumprofil fÃ¼r die Achsen erhÃ¤lt man in der gewÃ¼nschten LÃ¤nge Ã¼ber eBay. I was selling construction plans and a few parts and then I decided to offer a complete construction kit for a soapbox cart. That is when the MiniBox was invented. The idea was to use a small number of parts made from inexpensive materials but still provide a high level of stability and safety. The steering is operated using Bowden cables on axles made of aluminium. The brake was designed to be foot controlled because block brakes that put pressure on the road surface do not work very well, and they reduce stability when braking. One point that is often underestimated: in an emergency children can bring their cart to a stop much more quickly using a foot brake than using a hand brake, because in the latter they have to take one hand from the steering wheel. If you don't have a construction kit and want to build everything yourself, then you will find that this plan has many advantages: it is a simple construction and you can either buy all the parts in a hardware store, or have them made to measure by a carpenter. Holes have to be drilled in only a few parts. The aluminium section for the axles can be bought in a selection of different sizes from eBay.
