- Made of Cast Iron with Matte Black finish
- Decorative firebacks protect the firebox wall and radiate heat back into the room
- This fireback may be used directly on the hearth floor, or with feet if additional height is desired
- Use Minuteman International Fireback Supports (X670130) or Fireback Feet (CFB-F)
Simple and unobtrusive, this fireback would fit into any seaside decor, from traditional to contemporary. The fireback has been an indispensable part of the fireplace tradition in Europe since the 15th Century. The colonists carried it to our shores and now you can add that touch of elegance and history to your own fireplace. Available in two sizes to fit both older traditional homes and newer construction. Firebacks are designed to rest on the floor of the hearth, but Fireback Supports may also be used to hold this fireback upright and raise it off the hearth if extra height is desired. All our firebacks are designed for use with both gas logs and wood burning fireplaces.
