This is the Alpha version of the Modern Literal Version O.T. in 11 pt font size, double column, 8.5" by 11" book. 11-15-16 update. Quick Overview: The MLV O.T. is a continued revision of the Public Domain "A Conservative Version O.T." which is a more accurate revision of the "1901 American Standard Version" still held by Hebrew experts to be the best, most accurate O.T. We had plans to use Young's Literal but found out real quick it is no where as good as people have claimed. The MLV is Open Source and not sold for profit because there is no denomination or publishing company or foundation behind it. All Christian groups have had the opportunity to submit fixes or help. The only uninspired traditions kept in the MLV are: punctuation and capitalization; chapter and verse numbers; and book order. The Open Translation Bible: The Modern Literal Version Bible NT is considered â€˜finished,â€™ although it has been open for revision by anyone since 1998. Our utmost desire is to have a translation that has no errors and we believe that the best way to produce an error-free translation is to keep it open to the public in the same manner as â€˜open-source softwareâ€™ is to programmers. We have found no better way than our â€˜open translationâ€™ idea in its 15 years to achieve this goal. Absolutely anyone in the world is able to contribute, for sure, the few million who have visited the Christian Library have had that opportunity. We are hoping to do the same with the O.T. as with the N.T. The Modern Literal Version N.T. is also available in a separate book on amazon with its concordance, Greek dictionary & Greek concordance. MLV 2013 is the cutting edge version and "The New Koine Greek Textbooks Volume I & II" are the others. To God is the glory, power, and dominion forever and ever. Amen
