Peter Pupping and Fred Benedetti join forces to put forth some of their strongest material for the Acoustic Guitar Classics series. With a stellar guest appearance by Peter Sprague as a performer and arranger the two Encinitas Peters and Fred combine once again to move the old classics to new heights. If you loved "Here Comes the Sun" and "Morning Has Broken" you will die for "Moondance" which once again visits more great acoustic singer/songwriter classics by the likes of the Beatles, James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel and a toe tapping version of Van Morrison's Moondance. Moondance features a very special guest appearance by the Peter Pupping Quartet with William Wilson-guitar, Jeff Basile-bass and Roy Gonzales-percussion. Another surprise Peter Sprague's brother Tripp Sprague guest appears playing harmonica on Neil Young's classic Heart of Gold. Without losing the soothing and unobtrusive flavor of the "Acoustic Classics" series, the new release Moondance offers the listener a nudge into a relaxed toe-tapping world where we may even be tempted to take a spin around the floor.
