- V-Belt: Fits for Craftsman 15 1/2, 1/2hp motor Drill Press w/45 inch 3/16 top width.Transmits power by friction between trapezoidal section and pulley groove.
- Adjust the Tension: press the middle of the belt with your finger, the sinking amount is about 1%-2% of the belt length, too tight will aggravate the wear and tear of the axle pulley, too loose is easy to slip.
- Solve Common Problems: slippery situation, insufficient tension, belt aging, oil pollution of pulleys; belt wear, pulleys are not aligned, bearing damage; belt breakage
- Easy to Install: turn off the power first, adjust the motor base screws, reduce the distance between the motor and the spindle, relax the belt tension, remove the old belt, check the pulley grooves for wear or oil contamination.
- Regular Maintenance: check the tension and wear every month, cracks or deformation need to be replaced immediately, cleaning and maintenance, avoid oil, dust to reduce friction.
