Nathan's Story

Hartwell's Nathan's Story is a powerful follow-up to his Atom Heart John Beloved. Although the narration chronicles, among other things, the same love story as the first book, this is a stand-alone work. The introduction of an attractive new character, Harper, adds a new dimension to the narrative. Hartwell intertwines the story of Nathan and Harper with the story of Nathan and John while avoiding a rehash of old information. Like the first book, Nathan's Story makes readers think, covers some controversial ground, can produce tears, and will also bring plenty of smiles. We think this is Hartwell's sweetest and most delightful book.
